PCEF is organized to add value to Pender County Schools by:
- Increasing parental/community support and involvement
- Assisting in providing monetary resources and student supplies
- Providing teacher recognition and support
- Providing for, or engaging in special programs
- Securing resources above and beyond what the school system is capable of providing
- Forming partnerships that benefit students and teachers
